Short Bio
Tessa Quinones began her writing career in 1984, writing for an underground paper. She has leveraged this to produce successful persuasive professional content. During Covid, she ventured into the realm of novel-writing and science fiction.
Long Bio
Tessa began her writing career in her teens, working as an Intern at Firman Technical Publishing and providing copy-editing for software technical manuals. She wrote for The Dreadnaught, an underground newspaper during High School. In college, she leveraged these skills into tutoring for graduate and post-graduate capstone and dissertations. Following college, Tessa contributed to technical and training documentation for XTRA Super Foods, Signature Grand, University of Miami, gMed, the City of Hallandale Beach and the Broward Sheriff’s Office. She has regularly contributed to EHR news. During her time with University of Miami and His House Children’s Home, she authored successful grant submissions and compliance reports; in the employment of government entities she authored multiple white and green research papers including Diversity if Fire Service, presented at Fire East in 2020. An avid member of the Davie Writer’s Group since 2012, she has written multiple short stories. She published When Feldspar Giggled on Amazon KDP in 2020 and immediately garnered a five-star review. During Covid, she began work on a larger science fiction novel Blue Light. She lives in southwest Florida with her wife and their cat.
